General description
This Vent Filter is designed to prevent airborne particles and micro-organisms from entering the pure water storage reservoir. It is placed on top of the reservoir of 6 L and 10 L internal storage tanks.
As the reservoir is emptied of water, air entering the reservoir is filtered through the vent filter. It′s important that the reservoir is airtight by securing the lid, and that the check valve on the Overflow Tubing is installed. This forces air to only go through the vent filter, which significantly reduces atmospheric contamination entering the reservoir.
For use with Direct-Q®, Direct-Q® UV, RiOs™, RiOs-DI®, RiOs-DI® UV and RiOs-DI® Clinical water purification systems.
