General description

Anti-Gqα- and G₁₁α-Subunits, C-Terminal, rabbit polyclonal, recognizes the Gqα- and G₁₁α-subunits. Does not cross-react with other G-proteins. Validated for use in ELISA, WB, and IP.
Protein A affinity purified rabbit polyclonal antibody. Recognizes Gqα and G11α subunit proteins.
Recognizes the Gqα-and G11α-subunits. Does not cross-react with other G-proteins of the non-pertussis toxin-sensitive family.

Immunogen

a synthetic peptide (QLNLKEYNLV) corresponding to amino acids at the C-terminus of mammalian Gqα and G₁₁α, conjugated to KLH

Other Notes

The decapeptide corresponds to a defined C-terminal sequence found in both Gqα and G11α. Does not cross-react with other G proteins of the non-pertussis toxin sensitive family. This antibody has also been reported to work for ELISA and immunoprecipitation. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.
