Cypate is a cell penetrant near-infrared fluorescence probe. It appears that cypate uses a non-glucose-utilizing pathway for transport such as fatty acid transport pathway. Cypate is suitable for conjugation with different agents, tracers and probes for optical imaging of tumors and other physiological processes.
