Gene Information
human ... HMMR(3161)
General description
Hyaluronan mediated motility receptor (HMMR) is also called Receptor for hyaluronan-mediated motility (RHAMM), Intracellular hyaluronic acid-binding protein (IHABP), and CD_antigen 168 (CD168). HMMR is involved in cell motility, and is also linked to cellular transformation and metastasis formation, regulation of extracellular-regulated kinase (ERK) activity. HMMR is expressed in breast cancer cell lines and in normal breast tissue.
~85 kDa observed
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to the of human HMMR.
Application
Anti-HMMR Antibody/CD168 detects level of HMMR/CD168 & has been published & validated for use in HMMR/CD168.
Analysis Note
Evaluated by Western Blotting in MDA-MB-435 cell lysate.
Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:1,000 dilution of this antibody detected HMMR in 10 µg of MDA-MB-435 cell lysate.

The concerted action of many protein kinases helps orchestrate the error-free progression through mitosis of mammalian cells. The roles and regulation of some prominent mitotic kinases, such as cyclin-dependent kinases, are well established. However, these and other known mitotic kinases

Members of the casein kinase 1 (CK1) family of serine-threonine protein kinases are implicated in the regulation of many cellular processes, including the cell cycle, circadian rhythms, and Wnt and Hedgehog signaling. Because these kinases exhibit constitutive activity in biochemical
