A promising approach to overcome hypoxic conditions in tissue engineered constructs is to use the potential of endothelial cells (EC) to form networks in vitro when co-cultured with a supporting cell type in a 3D environment. Adipose tissue-derived stromal cells

Despite an obvious role for consanguinity in congenital heart disease (CHD), most studies fail to document a monogenic model of inheritance except for few cases. We hereby describe a first-degree cousins consanguineous Lebanese family with 7 conceived children: 2 died

Current multiplexing strategies for massively parallel sequencing of genomic DNA mainly rely on library indexing in the final steps of library preparation. This procedure is costly and time-consuming, because a library must be generated separately for each sample. Furthermore, library

T-box (TBX) transcription factors are evolutionary conserved genes and master transcriptional regulators. In mammals, TBX2 subfamily (TBX2, TBX3, TBX4, and TBX5) genes are expressed in the developing lung bud and tracheae. Our group previously showed that the expression of TBX2

Simultaneous measurement of proteins and mRNA in single cells enables quantitative understanding and modeling of cellular functions. Here, we present an automated microfluidic system for multi-parameter and ultra-sensitive protein/mRNA measurements in single cells. Our technology improves the sensitivity of digital
