Sodium acetate can be used as a precursor to synthesize:
  • Silver films by aerosol-assisted chemical vapor deposition (AACVD) method.
  • Sodium beta-alumina(SBA) by solution deposition method, which finds application in dielectrics and solid-state electrolytes.
  • Lead-free(K, Na)NbO3 ferroelectric thin films.
