General description

By ELISA, the antibody shows less than 1% cross-reactivity with rhEphrin-A3, rhEphrin-A4, rhEphrin-A5, and rhEphrin-B3. Also, there is less than 1% cross-reactivity with rmEphrin-A1, rmEphrin B2, rmEphrin-A2, rmEphrin-A4, and rzfEphrin-B2.

Immunogen

purified recombinant mouse ephrin-B1 extracelluar domain expressed in mouse NSO cells.

Application

Applications in which this antibody has been used successfully, and the associated peer-reviewed papers, are given below.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Ephrin B4 binds to EPH receptor B, a protein-tyrosine kinase family that belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily. EphB receptors and EphrinB ligands have a regulatory effect on endothelial cell function, angiogenesis, migration, cell growth and survival.

Physical form

Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in phosphate buffered saline and 5% trehalose.

In non-cancerous cells, phosphorylated proteins exist transiently, becoming de-phosphorylated by specific phosphatases that terminate propagation of signaling pathways. In cancers, compromised phosphatase activity and/or expression occur and contribute to tumor phenotype. The non-receptor phosphatase, PTPN13, has recently been dubbed a
