Immunogen

The epitope recognized by PLA0165 maps to a region between residue 250 and 300 of human chromodomain helicase DNA binding protein 4 (Mi2 autoantigen 218 kDa protein) using the numbering given in entry NP_001264.2 (GeneID 1108).

Other Notes

CHD4/Mi2beta is a helicase component of the nucleosome remodeling and deacetylase (NuRD) complex that functions to remodel chromatin and repress transcription. Outside of the NuRD complex, CHD4/Mi2beta can function as an activator of transcription in association with p300 histone acetyltransferase.
