Application
Anti-Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-1 Antibody is an antibody against Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-1 for use in ELISA, WB, NEUT.
ELISA: To detect rat MCP-1 (MCAF) by direct ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of at lease 0.5 μg/mL of this antibody is required. Should allow detection of 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant rat MCP-1 (MCAF).
Western blot: 0.1 - 0.2 μg/mL, this dilution should offer a detection limit of 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of rat MCP-1 (100 ng/mL), a concentration of 4.0-6.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required.
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

The medium-size intra-cranial arteries arising from the carotid bifurcation are prone to perinatal arterial ischemic strokes (PAIS). PAIS' physiopathology needs to be better understood to develop preventive and therapeutic interventions that are currently missing. We hypothesized that materno-fetal inflammation leads

Preterm and term newborns are at high risk of brain damage as well as subsequent cerebral palsy and learning disabilities. Indeed, hypoxia-ischemia (HI), pathogen exposures, and associated intracerebral increase of pro-inflammatory cytokines have all been linked to perinatal brain damage.
