General description

Interleukin-1 alpha (IL-1α) is a pro-inflammatory cytokine produced by various cell types, including macrophages, fibroblasts, and epithelial cells, and plays a key role in the immune response. Other Notes

Although IL-1α was detectablein non-human primate, canine, and rat plasma, the assay has not been verified for these species.
