General description

A zwitterionic buffer that is useful in the pH 7.9-11.1 range. Has a pKa of 10.0-10.6 at 25°C.
Absorbance (100 mM, 260 nm):≤0.05.
Biological buffer (absorbance: <0.05 at 260 nm, 100 mM; pKa: 10.0-10.6 at 25°C).

Preparation Note

Following reconstitution, store at room temperature (20°C). Stock solutions are stable for up to 6 months at room temperature.
