Application

Hydrogen peroxide solution (dilute alcoholic or aqueous solutions) may be used for the epoxidation of lower olefins in the presence of titanium silicalite (catalyst). It may be used in the synthesis of acenaphthene and peroxyacetic acid.

General description

Hydrogen peroxide is a reactive oxygen species formed as a reaction product of various aerobic metabolic processes. Its ultra-trace quantification in the concentration range of 10-11mole/ml by a fluorometric method has been described.
