General description

Tissue Engineering Grade Poly(ethylene glycol) dimethacrylate (PEGDMA) is an inhibitor‑free, difunctional methacrylate macromer engineered for clean, rapid network formation and biocompatible hydrogel environments. Developed for tissue engineering workflows, TE PEGDMA is R&D‑tested for low cytotoxicity, supporting high cell viability under recommended formulation and curing conditions. It features a ≥90% degree of functionalization (dimethacrylate end‑groups) to enable reliable crosslinking and high conversion. The PEG backbone provides excellent aqueous solubility and biocompatibility, supporting scaffold fabrication, bioinks, encapsulation matrices, and protein‑resistant surface coatings.Key Features Inhibitor‑free formulation (no added MEHQ/BHT) for efficient curing and minimal residuals. R&D‑tested biocompatibility demonstrating low cytotoxicity and high cell viability in standard lab assays. ≥90% degree of functionalization for consistent free‑radical polymerization and robust network formation. PEG biocompatibility and hydrophilicity to help reduce protein adsorption and support gentle cell handling. High purity and quality control suitable for demanding tissue engineering research and prototyping.

Application

  • Photocurable PEG hydrogels for scaffold fabrication and cell encapsulation
  • Bioinks for 3D bioprinting (with suitable crosslinkers/initiators)
  • Protein‑resistant surface coatings and soft network modifiers
  • Drug‑delivery matrix components and permeability tuning.
