Imidazole has been used:
  • as a component of the immobilized metal affinity chromatography (IMAC) elution buffer for storing N-acylmannosamine 1-dehydrogenase (ManDH)
  • as an eluent for the purification of recombinant Human Cathepsin D (rHsCTSD)
  • as a component of the elution buffer, wash buffer and binding/lysis buffer for the purification of oxidized animal toxins in Escherichia coli
