Application

Cesium iodide has been used as calibration standard during native electrospray ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (ESI-TOF MS) analysis for measuring protein samples, from protein aggregates.
Suitable as standard for electrospray ionisation MS (ESI)

Features and Benefits

Frequently used in devices such as phosphor screens for medical imaging, scintillators, calorimeters and a variety of particle detectors.

General description

Cesium iodide is a simple ionic salt. It has the capacity to undergo second order transformation from cubic B2 structure to body-centered tetragonal structure at low pressures. It is mostly used as input screens of X-ray image intensifiers.

Several potent neutralizing antibodies against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) virus have been identified. However, antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE) has not been comprehensively studied for SARS-CoV-2, and the relationship between enhancing versus neutralizing activities and antibody epitopes remains unknown.
