General description

Brodifacoum is an anticoagulant rodenticide, widely used for the control of rodent population via inhibition of the vitamin K epoxide reductase, causing blood clotting alterations, leading to haemorrhaging as the ultimate cause of death.

Application

Brodifacoum may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in animal samples and biological samples using different chromatography techniques..
