Merck:/Freestyle/LE-Lab-Essentials/Microscopy/LE-Staining Instruments-120x95-07082013.jpgMicroscopic analysis is a multi-step process, which comprises sample preparation, fixation, staining, mounting and diagnostics. Merck covers your requirements for every stage. Not only do we provide you with brilliant, ready-to-use staining solutions but also reliable auxiliary products for optimal processing and conservation of clinical samples.

Thanks to strict quality controls during production, our auxiliary solutions and reagents guarantee reliable and reproducible results. Furthermore, their economic package sizes and long shelf lives allow you to work with maximum efficiency. As with all of our microscopy products, most of our auxiliaries are CE certified IVDs. Hence, they are perfectly suited for clinical diagnostics, and support laboratory accreditations and audits.

Product Range

An extensive range of high-quality auxiliary solutions and reagents for processing, fixation, mounting and conservation.

Buffer acc. to Weise

Phosphate buffer solutions are used in hematology for the dilution of staining solutions and for rinsing steps in the staining process. Our buffer tablets acc. to Weise produce solutions that ensure stable and reproducible staining results. The tablets are offered with different pH values: pH 6.4 results in bright-orange erythrocytes with differentiated cells and nuclei; pH 6.8 results in orange erythrocytes; and pH 7.2 produces grayish erythrocytes with intense red-violet cells and nuclei.

Alcohols

Alcohol, especially ethanol, is used in hematology for dehydration and clearing of sample material. We offer ethanol in various purity grades and package sizes for use in different applications, such as preparing ascending and descending alcohol series, rinsing, and mixing stain solutions.
