General description

GDS Rotor-Gene® Q thermocycler is supported with Dell Latitude laptop. Dell Latitude laptops work faster and provides flexible, simplified and secure solutions. The laptop is made with premium finishes like carbon fiber and all new aluminum, ensuring reimagined design and durability in a lighter frame. The laptop is pre-installed with the comprehensive Rotor-Gene® Q software package that supports the state-of-the art real-time analysis procedures from basic to advanced algorithms. The software determines sample results for the user and increases the reliability of results. Data security is assured, and all process steps are trackable from starting the run to exporting the results.

  • 3 User profiles:
1. The “GDS Administrator” user level provides administrators with the ability to set up new users, Password protected, updated software, and configure the computer′s operational settings.
2. The “GDS Analyst” user level provides laboratory managers with the ability to analyze data in greater detail. Analysts have the ability to generate reports that can be saved, printed, or e-mailed directly from the GDS Rotor-Gene® software and is password protected.
3. The “GDS Operator” is the default access level that allows the user to enter sample information and provides a convenient results table.
