General description

Biochem/physiol Actions

L-アルギニンは二塩基性の準必須アミノ酸です。L-アルギニンはクレアチニンの前駆体として作用します。ほとんどの食物タンパク質の天然成分です。

一酸化窒素シンターゼの基質で、シトルリンと一酸化窒素(NO)に転換されます。一酸化窒素依存的な機序によってインスリンの放出を誘導します。
