Recognizes with the v-Fes (feline sarcoma) domain common to the Gardner and Snyder-Thelien FeSv polyprotein translation products and mammalian p93c-fes.

  • Purified rat monoclonal antibody generated by immunizing rats with the specified immunogen and fusing splenocytes with Y3 Ag 1.2.3 rat myeloma cells (see application references). Recognizes the v-fes encoded sequences common to the polyprotein translational products of the Snyder-Theilen and Gardner strains of feline sarcoma virus (FesV).

    Other Notes

    To immunoprecipitate, use goat anti-rat Ig with protein G or rabbit anti-rat Ig in conjunctuction with protein A. This antibody will inhibit protein tyrosine kinase activity (see application references). Antibody should be titrated for optimal results in individual Systems.
