General description

Protein A purified rabbit polyclonal antibody. Recognizes the ~34-50 kDa isoforms of VEGF.
Recognizes the ~34-50 kDa isoforms of VEGF. Cat. No. PC315 is recommended for immunohistochemical staining of rodent tissues. Recognizes VEGF in human tissues by immunoblotting but not by immunohistochemistry.

Tested on formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded tissue. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 1 mM EDTA, pH 8.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Antibody should be titrated for optimal results in individual systems.
