General description

Recognizes the ~50 kDa PTPase 1B protein.

Mouse monoclonal antibody generated by immunizing mice with the specified immunogen and fusing splenocytes with SP2/0 myeloma cells. Recognizes the ~50 kDa full-length PTPase 1B protein.

Recognizes only full-length PTPase 1B. May also detect a 90-95 kDa protein by immunoblotting (but not immunoprecipitation) that may be mor intense than PTPase 1B (see application references). Antibody should be titrated for optimal results in individual sample types.
