Features and Benefits

Features:

  • Measures ACTH, Corticosterone, and Melatonin in a single assay
  • Suitable for rat serum, plasma, and tissue lysates
  • High sensitivity and specificity for low-abundance stress biomarkers
  • Multiplex format reduces sample volume and assay time
  • Verified under stringent Quality Control standards
Benefits:

  • Enables comprehensive profiling of stress and circadian-related hormones
  • Supports research into HPA axis function and neuroendocrine regulation
  • Improves efficiency by consolidating multiple assays into one
  • Delivers reliable and reproducible data for behavioral and toxicological studies
  • Facilitates longitudinal and comparative studies in rodent stress models

General description

ACTH (Adrenocorticotropic Hormone), Corticosterone, and Melatonin are key indicators of physiological stress and circadian rhythm regulation. ACTH stimulates the adrenal cortex to release corticosterone, a primary stress hormone in rodents, while melatonin modulates sleep-wake cycles and is influenced by light exposure and stress. Measuring these analytes provides valuable insights into neuroendocrine function, HPA axis activity, and behavioral stress responses in rodent models, supporting research in neuroscience, endocrinology, and toxicology.
