      ApplicationELISA (1:4000, see application references)
Frozen Sections (1:100, see application references)
DescriptionRabbit polyclonal antibody supplied as lyophilized, undiluted serum. Recognizes the ~5 kDa thymosin β4 protein.
BackgroundThymosin β4 is one of the main intracellular G-actin sequestering peptides, and is present in high concentration in almost every cell. Thymosin β4 is also detected outside of cells in blood plasma or in wound fluid. Some biological effects that may be attributed to thymosin β4 include induction of metallo-proteinases, chemotaxis, angiogenesis and inhibition of inflammation as well as the inhibition of bone marrow stem cell proliferation.
