Our broad portfolio consists of multiplex panels that allow you to choose, within the panel, analytes that best meet your needs. On a separate tab you can choose the premixed cytokine format or a single plex kit.
Cell Signaling Kits & MAPmates™
Choose fixed kits that allow you to explore entire pathways or processes. Or design your own kits by choosing single plex MAPmates™, following the provided guidelines.
The following MAPmates™ should not be plexed together:
-MAPmates™ that require a different assay buffer
-Phospho-specific and total MAPmate™ pairs, e.g. total GSK3β and GSK3β (Ser 9)
-PanTyr and site-specific MAPmates™, e.g. Phospho-EGF Receptor and phospho-STAT1 (Tyr701)
-More than 1 phospho-MAPmate™ for a single target (Akt, STAT3)
-GAPDH and β-Tubulin cannot be plexed with kits or MAPmates™ containing panTyr

Years of experience in the manufacture of immuno-reagents and IVD products have given Merck an encompassing awareness of the importance of high-quality secondary antibodies.
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) uses antibodies binding specifically to antigens in biological tissues to visualize proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids of interest.
Sensory systems and metabolism research focuses on peripheral and central processing mechanisms in the visual, auditory, olfactory, gustatory, and pain systems.
Successful engraftment of neural stem cells (NSCs) following implantation into the brains of rodent models has demonstrated the potential of neural stem cells in the development of regenerative therapeutic strategies.
ChemiBlock reagents, acquired by Merck from Chemicon in 2006, are well recognized for their ability to block Human anti-Mouse Antibodies (HAMA) and other HAMA-like agents in patient samples.

Histone modifications regulate DNA transcription, repair, recombination, and replication, and can alter local chromatin architecture. Understanding histone modifications is key to uncovering epigenetic mechanisms of gene regulation. Merck grasps the complexity of this research and provides a growing line of kits, antibodies, and assays for studying histones and their modifications. Merck offers over 600 validated antibodies, recombinant proteins, and kits to analyze histone and histone-variant phosphorylation, methylation, acetylation, ubiquitination, and citrullination-the most widely studied histone modifications in epigenetics today.
Optogenetic approaches promise to revolutionize neuroscience by using light to manipulate neural activity in genetically or functionally defined neurons with millisecond precision
Mammalian expression using ubiquitous chromatin opening element (UCOE) technology, prevents transgene silencing for consistent and high-level gene expression.
Cytoskeletal signaling complexes include G-protein complexes, focal adhesions, and adherens junctions. Focal adhesions and adherens junctions link the cell exterior to the plasma membrane and the actin cytoskeleton, acting as key initiators of signaling pathways in response to cell adhesion.
