Tergitol is a nonionic surfactant.

Application

Tergitol has been used in a study to assess the structural characterization and antimicrobial properties of silver nanoparticles. It has also been used in a study to investigate the detection of Salmonella enterica serotype enteritidis in naturally contaminated environmental samples from integrated poultry houses.
