ウェスタンブロッティング：1-10 μg/mL（化学発光法）：NETは少なくとも2つの形態で存在できます。一方は高度にグリコシル化された約80kDaのタイプであり、脳内で最も広く存在します。他方はグリコシル化のレベルが低い約54kDaであり、こちらは一部の領域と組織に存在します。

Norepinephrine Transporter （NET）に固有。Norepinephrine Transporterは617個のアミノ酸を持つ長い内在性膜タンパク質であり、Sodium:Neurotransmitter Symporterファミリーに属します（Bruss et al. 1995; Melikian et al. 1994; Pacholczyk et al. 1991）。抗原性ペプチドは。既知の他のタンパク質に対して相同性を示しません。
