マイクロアレイ分析における細胞外マトリックス（ECM）タンパク質として、プロービングや検出実験のためのニトロセルロースフィルムスライドのコーティングのため。
マイクロ流体移動デバイスをコーティングするため、および細胞郵送に対する細胞外マトリックス（ECM）の影響を調べるため。
Gpr56 PRESTO-TangoアッセイおよびGTP-Rhoプルダウンアッセイにおけるポジティブコントロールとして、細胞シグナル伝達と相互作用に対するその影響を評価するため。

Biochem/physiol Actions

III型コラーゲンはまずプロコラーゲンとして産生されます。プロコラーゲンは、3本鎖のロープ状分子を形成する3本のプロアルファ1(III)鎖からなるタンパク質です。プロコラーゲン分子は合成された後、細胞によって修飾されます。III型プロコラーゲン分子が細胞から放出され、酵素によって処理されて、分子のいずれかの末端で小さなセグメントを切断して成熟コラーゲンを形成します。成熟コラーゲン分子は集合して原線維を形成します。分子間の架橋によって、コラーゲンの組織強化機能に寄与する非常に安定した原線維が生成されます。

General description

ヒト染色体2q32.2にマッピングされるCOL3A1遺伝子は、III型コラーゲンのα1鎖をコードしています。III型コラーゲンは細胞外マトリックスタンパク質であり、3本のα1鎖で構成される長い三重らせんドメインを持っています。III型コラーゲンは、大血管、子宮、腸などの空洞器官における主な構造成分です。ヒトIII型コラーゲンは、ヒト胎盤の軽度ペプシン消化後の酢酸抽出物の連続的塩析、アルコール沈殿、およびDEAEクロマトグラフィーによって精製されています。製品の起源：ヒト胎盤、HbsAG、HCV、HIV1および2抗体に対して陰性。
