General description
AMPA受容体は、サブタイプ組成で特徴付けられるストイキオメトリな状態で、ほとんどの興奮性シナプスにおいて速いシナプス電流を媒介します。AMPA選択的GluRサブユニットには4タイプあります（GluR1、GluR2、GluR3、GluR4）。異なるサブユニットの四量体または五量体の組合せが、AMPA受容体の機能的多様性に寄与しています。 シナプス後膜からのGluR1/GluR4オリゴマーチャネルの挿入または除去はLTP/LTD活性依存性であると考えられている一方で、GluR2/GluR3オリゴマーは持続的に循環しています。 Milliporeの抗GluR2/3抗体は、PSDにおけるGluR2/GluR3受容体アセンブリの局在発現に役立ちます。’
