General description
HEPESは、生物学的研究に利用可能な多目的緩衝液の中で、最も優れたものの1つであると説明されています。生物学的pHにおいて分子は両性イオン性であり、pH6.8～8.2の範囲で緩衝液として有効です。HEPESは、組織培養を含む多種多様な用途に使用されています。空気中で行う細胞培養培地の緩衝液として一般的に使用されています。HEPESはin vitro実験において、Mgで活性化されます。
Application
RNAse HEPESは下記に使用されています：
- 細胞株維持用ダルベッコ改変イーグル培地とラット膵島洗浄用RPMI培地の補充に
- 精製されたリボヌクレオチドの回収に
- small RNAの単離と配列決定のためのHEPES/KOH緩衝液およびアデニル化緩衝液の構成成分として
- 核抽出物調製用緩衝液の構成成分として、ならびに膵島維持用RPMI-1640培地の補充に
