General description
アルカリ性ホスファターゼは、核酸末端のリン酸の切断を触媒するホスホモノエステラーゼです。フリーの5'-OHはポリヌクレオチドキナーゼとγ32P-ATPによってリン酸化され、γ32P-末端標識化核酸を生成します。直鎖のクローニングベクターは、アルカリ性ホスファターゼとの脱リン酸化による再環化から阻害されます。
Application
通常は、分子クローニング反応における核酸からの5'-末端リン酸の除去に使用されます。

1単位は、37°Cにおいて、1分あたり1 μMのp-ニトロフェニルホスフェートを加水分解します。
5 mM EDTA（pH 8）中のアルカリ性ホスファターゼは、75°Cで10分間の熱処理によって不可逆的に不活化されます。
アルカリ性ホスファターゼは、50 mM KCl、1 mM MgCl2、および0.1 mM ZnCl2、50％（w/v）グリセロールを含む、10 mM Tris-HCl（pH 8.2）の溶液で提供されます。10倍CIPバッファー、製品番号C3225が含まれます。
