A zwitterionic buffer useful in the pH range of 6.5-7.9. Has a pKa of 7.20 at 25°C.
Absorbance (1.0 M, H2O, 260 nm):≤0.05.
One of the zwitterionic buffers active in the pH range of 6.5 to 8.0 (absorbance: ≤0.05 at 260 nm, 1.0 M, H2O). Has a pK,sub>a of 7.05-7.40 at 20°C.
