TFF solutions for single- and multi-use processes

Process-scale single-use TFF systems
Mobius® TFF 20 and 80 systems are a family of single use systems designed for efficient concentration and diafiltration of proteins. They offer two system scales, modular tank sizes, a flowpath option to match Pellicon® devices and capsules, and can operate in either open or closed mode.

Process-scale multi-use TFF systems and holders
The fully automated Cogent® Process-scale TFF system is designed to separate and purify monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, plasma, and therapeutic proteins. It is ideally suited for both pilot and production scale applications, thereby supporting rapid scale-up from small to large-scale operations. Configuration options for SPTFF (Single Pass TFF) applications can also be proposed to address process intensification needs.

Process development multi-use TFF systems and holders
The Cogent® Lab TFF system family uses similar design, sensing technologies, and accessories as our manufacturing-scale equipment. It is optimized for high product recovery and drainability, ensuring successful small-scale TFF operations.
Common Control Platform® (CCP®)
Common Control Platform® (CCP®) is a common software platform across our family of fully automated systems. It controls bioprocessing operations, simplifies software management, and securely manages data. Designed to operate in GMP environments, it is developed in line with GAMP® 5 recommendations for automation software and facilitates 21 CFR Part 11 compliance for electronic records and signatures.

Frequently asked questions
What are the benefits of a single-use TFF system?
The benefits of single-use TFF systems include faster start-up and turnaround, reduced cleaning and validation requirements and lower cross-contamination risk. TFF single-use systems simplify compliance, reduce water and energy use, and also enhance flexibility in facility design to minimize capital footprint in high-purity operations showing high-changeover applications.
How do I select the right scale?
Share your processing parameters with us. What are your starting and final volume, cross flow rate, membrane area, mode of operation and our experts will guide you to the system that fits your needs.
How can you support me to go faster?
Our Emprove® dossiers gather all the information you need to set up a new product in your system; our validation services support you in validating the installation and performance of your system.
What automation environment do you support?
We offer several automation levels that can be proposed including PLC/HMI powered by CCP®, or headless I/O systems with DCS integration capabilities for Process scale TFF systems. At process development scale, Bio4C® ProcessPad software provides real-time monitoring and control of all Cogent® Lab Systems, with an intuitive user interface that lets you operate the systems with minimal training.
