General description

Blocking reagent is used for blocking of nonspecific binding sites in ELISA procedures.

Application

For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Blocking reagent has been used as a blocking reagent in:
  • ELISA
  • Immunofluorescence
  • In situ hybridization

Preparation Note

Storage conditions (working solution): Autoclaved stock solution can be stored for several days to one week either unopened at 15 to 25 °C or at 2 to 8 °C after opening. Alternatively, the stock solution can be stored in aliquots at -15 to -15 °C for up to 6 months.
