Application
Utilizada para la desnaturalización de proteínas y como suave agente de solubilización para las proteínas insolubles o desnaturalizadas. Útil para la renaturalización de proteínas de muestras ya desnaturalizadas con cloruro de guanidina 6 M como los cuerpos de inclusión. Puede utilizarse con clorhidrato de guanidina y ditiotreitol (DTT) en el repliegue de las proteínas desnaturalizadas a su forma nativa o activa.
Urea as an active pharmaceutical ingedient is used mainly in dermatology for cremes and ointments and for ophthalmic applications. Urea crystalline Emprove® API is manufactured under ICH Q7. A CEP and an US-DMF is available.
