General description

Erbium(III) acetate hydrate is a high-purity, moderately water soluble, erbium precursor widely used in thin film deposition, nanomaterial synthesis, and optical coating applications. With excellent thermal stability and controlled decomposition to ErO, it is ideal for solution processing, CVD, and ALD techniques.

Application

Erbium(III) acetate hydrate can be used
  • To enhance ZnO conductivity via erbium ion doping, increasing carrier mobility, and improving energy storage device performance.
  • In LiErF nanoparticle synthesis for nano thermometry and data security, offering ultrahigh thermal sensitivity and up conversion efficiency through a refined co-precipitation method.
  • To develop erbium-based luminescent materials for optical communication, enabling efficient signal amplification and high-speed data transfer in fiber laser systems.
