Produit évalué par immunocytochimie sur des cellules HeLa non traitées (contrôle négatif) et traitées à la staurosporine.

Analyse par immunocytochimie : Une dilution au 1/100e d'un lot représentatif a permis de détecter la phospho-histone H2A.X (Ser139) dans des cellules HeLa traitées à la staurosporine, mais pas dans les cellules HeLa non traitées.

Application

L'utilisation de cet anticorps anti-phospho-histone H2A.X (Ser139), clone JBW301, conjugué à l'Alexa Fluor™ 488, a été validée en ICC pour la détection de la phospho-histone H2A.X (Ser139).

General description

L'histone H2A.X est une variante de l'histone H2A, et est elle aussi associée à l'ADN génomique. Cependant, l'histone est structurellement différente des autres membres de la famille H2A car elle possède une queue C-terminale contenant le résidu Ser139, qui est phosphorylé en réponse aux ruptures dans l'ADN double brin. La phosphorylation de H2A.X est un processus rapide qui est médié par les protéines ATM/ATR.
