Members in the TNF superfamily regulate immune responses and induce apoptosis. TACI (also known as Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 13B, transmembrane activator and CAML interactor, and CD267) binds BAFF and April and its ligands regulate humoral immune responses, activate NF-kB and c-Jun N-terminal kinase, and are involved in B cell associated autoimmune diseases.
