General description

The pituitary gland, often referred to as the “master gland,” regulates multiple endocrine functions through the secretion of key hormones. This panel—ACTH, BDNF, FSH, GH, LH, Prolactin, and TSH—captures essential indicators of adrenal, thyroid, gonadal, and neuroendocrine activity. The MILLIPLEX® Mouse Pituitary Panel enables multiplexed quantification of these biomarkers in mouse serum or plasma, supporting research in reproductive biology, metabolism, and endocrine disorders.

Application

MILLIPLEX® Qualified assays undergo rigorous assay development, verification, and Quality Control testing to achieve optimal performance. Simultaneously analyze up to 7 analytes in mouse serum, plasma, or cell/tissue culture supernatants.

Analytes Included: ACTH, BDNF, FSH, GH, LH, Prolactin, TSH

Assay Characteristics: Refer to assay protocol for details on cross-reactivity, sensitivity, precision, and accuracy.

Features and Benefits

Features:

  • Targets key pituitary hormones involved in endocrine and neuroendocrine regulation
  • Includes 7 analytes relevant to metabolism, growth, reproduction, and neuronal function
  • Multiplex format enables simultaneous detection from minimal sample volume
  • Compatible with mouse serum, plasma, and cell/tissue culture supernatants
  • Designed for research in reproductive biology, endocrine disorders, and neuroendocrine signaling
Benefits:

  • Provides a comprehensive profile of pituitary hormone biomarkers in mouse models
  • Supports investigation of endocrine function and hormonal regulation mechanisms
  • Facilitates evaluation of therapeutic interventions and endocrine toxicity
  • Enables high-throughput analysis with reduced sample and reagent use
  • Delivers reproducible, sensitive results for preclinical and translational research
