General description
Sodium hydroxide also known as caustic soda is a water soluble base with a wide range of industrial applications.
Application
Sodium hydroxide may be used in the following processes:
- Titration methods.
- Dissolution testing.
- As a base for adjusting pH.
- As a reducing agent to initiate the synthesis of resin-supported silver nanoparticles.

- Prion inactivation during industrial decontamination procedure.
