Biochem/physiol Actions

Azidothymidine (AZT), a thymidine analogue, is a reverse transcriptase inhibitor against the HIV-1 virus. Azidothymidine has been shown to decrease CRISPR-mediated homology-directed repair (HDR) efficiency.
