    We recommend Product No. C0775 (Crystal Violet, certified by the Biological Stain Commission), or Product No. 93770 (Tuerk's solution) for these stains, rather than diluting down the relatively high concentration of Crystal Violet (2.3%) in HT901 to approximately 0.1%.  Product HT901 was formulated for use in the Gram Stain procedure. The product's performance has not been tested for use in colony staining, migration or plaque assays.
