Recognizes the α-subunit of H+,K+-ATPase.

  • Antibody Target Gene Symbol: ATP4A
  • Target Synonym: ATP6A, Atpase, h+/k+ transporting, alpha polypeptide, Gastric H+/K+ ATPase Alpha, H+/K+ ATPASE, HKATPC, RATHKATPC
  • Entrez Gene Name: ATPase, H+/K+ exchanging, alpha polypeptide
  • Hu Entrez ID: 495 (Related Antibodies: 119102)
  • Mu Entrez ID: 11944
  • Rat Entrez ID: 24216
  • Anti-H+,K+-ATPase, α-Subunit (1019-1034), rabbit polyclonal, recognizes the α-subunit of H+,K+-ATPase. It is validated for use in ELISA, WB, ICC, and IHC (paraffin sections).
Rabbit polyclonal antibody supplied as undiluted serum. Recognizes the α-subunit of H+,K+-ATPase.

    Immunogen

    Porcine
a synthetic peptide (GVRCCPGSWWDQGLYY) corresponding to amino acids 1019-1034 of porcine H+, K+-ATPase α-subunit

    Application

    ELISA (see comments)

    Immunoblotting (1:1000)

    Immunocytochemistry (see comments)

    Paraffin Sections (see comments)

    Physical form

    Undiluted serum.

    Preparation Note

Following initial thaw, aliquot and freeze (-70°C). Recommended dilution buffer is Tris buffered saline with 1% BSA, pH 7.5.

    Other Notes

Exhibits some cross-reactivity with Na+, K+-ATPase at working dilution for H+,K+-ATPase. This antibody is also reported to work for ELISA, immunocytochemistry, and paraffin sections. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.
