General description
Native platelet factor 4 from human platelets. A heparin-binding chemokine released from α-granules of activated platelets. Binds to the newly formed blood vessels and reduces tumor neovascularization. Molecular weight = 7800-9000 (monomer).

In 1.5 M NaCl, 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.3.
Preparation Note
Following initial thaw, aliquot and freeze (-20°C).
Prepared from platelets that have been shown by certified tests to be negative for HBsAg and for antibodies to HIV and HCV.
