General description
Native, high molecular weight urokinase from human urine. A serine protease that acts as a thrombolytic agent.
Physical form
Lyophilized from 200 mM mannitol, 100 mM NaCl, 50 mM Tris-HCl, 0.1% PEG, pH 7.4.
Preparation Note
Following reconstitution, aliquot and freeze (-20°C). Stock solutions are stable for up to 1 month at -20°C.
Prepared from urine that has been shown by certified tests to be negative for HBsAg and for antibodies to HIV and HCV.
Reconstitute in 1.0 ml of distilled H₂O
