Substrate for the fluorogenic assay of α-D-galactosidase. Excitation maximum: ~360 nm; Emission maximum: ~440 nm.

Preparation Note

Unstable in solution; reconstitute just prior to use. Solubilization in DMF is preferred, as background fluorescence will increase if solubilized in H₂O.
