General description

A ready-to-use stable, neutral form of the popular disulfide-reducing agent TCEP, Hydrochloride (Cat. No. 580560). Reconstitute each vial with 1 ml H2O to obtain a 500 mM solution.

Application


  • Förster Resonance Energy Transfer Assay for Investigating the Reactivity of Thioesters in Biochemistry and Native Chemical Ligation.: This study utilizes TCEP in a FRET assay to explore thioester reactivity, providing insights into biochemical reactions and peptide synthesis applications (Gless et al., 2023).

Following reconstitution, aliquot, flush with an inert gas, and freeze (-20°C). Stock solutions are stable for up to 1 month at -20°C.
