Cell-surface protein of endothelial cells and monocytes involved in coagulation and inflammation. Primary cellular initiator of coagulation protease cascade. Functions as receptor and cofactor for coagulation Factors VII and VIIa. Requires lipidation for clotting assays or other functional activities.
