General description
ILK（Integrin-Linked Kinase）は、4つのアンキリン様リピートを持つ細胞内Ser/Thrキナーゼです。細胞外マトリックスが介在するシグナル伝達において中心的役割を担うことが知られています。ILKは、その他多くの接着斑関連タンパク質に加えてβインテグリンと結合することが知られています。この場合、ILKは、細胞の接着と遊走に関与しています。キナーゼ活性は、インテグリン活性化後に低下するようであり、p59 ILKの過剰発現は、インテグリン基質への細胞接着を阻害します。さらに、ILKは、TGF-β1に誘導されるSmadとは無関係に、上皮間葉転換（EMT）と関連しています（Li, 2003）。ILKの強制発現も、MMP-2（matrix metalloprotease 2）の発現を誘発し、細胞の遊走と浸潤を促進しました（Li, 2003）。
