General description
γ-アミノ酪酸A型（GABAA）受容体は、神経伝達物質リガンド作動性イオンチャネルのメンバーであり、GABAの結合におけるニューロンの阻害を媒介します。GABAA受容体に対するGABAの作用は、治療に重要なさまざまな薬物によって調節されています。そのような薬物には、バルビツール酸、麻酔薬、ベンゾジアゼピンなどがあります。
